LASER HAIR REMOVAL in San Ramon & Danville

Effortless Hair Removal.

You want less hair in the fastest way possible! Laser hair removal is the answer.

My advanced and safe Cutera CoolGlide Laser works wonders for hair removal on all skin types, even tanned skin.

The CoolGlide delivers a quick, painless treatment (other lasers can be long and painful) that
completely destroys the hair follicle as opposed to other lasers that only damage the hair follicle, which can result in re-growth in 4-5 years.

The CoolGlide hand piece cools and soothes as it glides along your skin.
No local anesthesia or pain medication is typically needed.

Most areas require 5-7 treatments for optimal results. Certain challenging cases may require 10-12 treatments or more. Your own body chemistry will ultimately dictate the number of treatments that you need. My goal is always to give you a great result!

Immediately post-laser treatment

You may experience possible brief swelling and/or mild redness which subsides in a few hours or less post treatment. Sun screen is recommended.

1-3 Weeks Post-Laser Treatment

You may notice more hair as the follicles in the growing cycle begin to shed. The shedding process will look like stubble that is pushing its way out of the follicle. Exfoliating during this process will help hairs shed faster.

Some Re-Growth Is Normal!

Remember that the Laser can only disable the hair/follicles in the growing phase which is usually 10-15% of total hair volume. The follicle in the resting phase “wake -up” and will remain growing until they reach the growing phase and can be disabled at the next treatment creating the shedding phase that follows 1-3 weeks post treatment.

How to Get Optimal Results

Shave re-growing hair or use a chemical depilatory such as Nair (but not within 2 days of your next appointment!) Do not pluck, tweeze, wax or thread between appointments (new hair growth.)

Your first few treatments are scheduled every 4-5 weeks apart. As the hair cycle slows down, treatments are scheduled 6-8 weeks apart. It takes multiple treatments depending on area, color/thickness of hair and color of skin. In certain cases, periodic maintenance appointments are required and are scheduled as needed.
